The MCIMX28EVK is an evaluation kit for i.MX28 multimedia applications processor. This kit offers developers a cost effective platform to ultimately develop, debug and demonstrate the personality of i.MX28. The i.MX28 multimedia applications processors is the latest extension of ARM9 product portfolio. It is a low power, high performance applications processor optimized for the general embedded industrial and consumer markets. The core of the i.MX28 is fast, power efficient implementation of the ARM926EJ-S core, with speeds of up to 454MHz. The i.MX28 integrates display, power management and connectivity features unmatched in ARM9 based devices, reducing system cost and complexity for cost sensitive applications.
