ADUM6421A is a quad-channel digital isolator with an isoPower®, integrated, isolated dc-to-dc converter. It is based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. This dc-to-dc converter provides regulated, isolated power that meets CISPR 32/EN 55032 Class B limits at a full load on a 2-layer printed circuit board (PCB) with ferrites. It eliminates need for a separate, isolated dc-to-dc converter in 500mW, isolated designs. The iCoupler chip scale transformer technology is used for isolated logic signals and for the magnetic components of the dc-to-dc converter. It is widely used in application such as RS-232 transceivers, power supply start-up bias and gate drives, isolated sensor interfaces, automotive on-board charger (OBC) and dc to dc, industrial programmable logic controllers (PLCs) etc.

- High common-mode transient immunity is 100KV/µs
- Quad dc to 100Mbps signal isolation channels
- IDD1 is 8.3mA typ at (100Mbps, TA = 25°C, VDD1 = VDD2 = 5.0V)

- VDDP voltage range is 4.5V to 5.5V
