The MAX3543CTL+ is a multiband analogue and digital television tuner in 40 pin TQFN package. It achieves highest performance with spur-free, easy design-in architecture. This hybrid broadband single conversion television tuner is designed for use in analogue (PAL, SECAM) and digital (DVB-T, GB20600) television sets and terrestrial receivers. It receives all television bands from 47MHz to 862MHz and converts selected channel to an industry standard 36MHz IF. The MAX3543 includes variable gain low noise input amplifier, RF tracking filter, image rejection mixer, peak detector, optional internal, self contained RF gain control loop (RFAGC), VCO with fractional-N PLL, IF bandpass filter, IF variable gain amplifier, separate analogue/digital IF outputs and crystal oscillator. It is used in DVB-T/DVB-T2 + PAL/SECAM, DVB-C + PAL/SECAM, DTMB/GB20600 + PAL and ATSC + NTSC applications.

- Greater than 70dB image rejection (47MHz to 470MHz) and 4dB noise figure
- Fast locking, low phase noise PLL supports 256QAM
- Crystal oscillator and buffer/divider to drive baseband IC
- Power dissipation of 745mW and maximum clock rate of 400KHz
- 50dB maximum voltage gain to IFOUT1 (DVB-T mode) and 53dB RF gain control range
