The MAX9650ATA+T is a high current, single channel VCOM drive operational amplifier (op-amp) for TFT LCDs in 8 pin TDFN package. The device can drives up to 1300mA of peak current per channel and operate up to 20V. The MAX9650 is designed to source and sink high current quickly to hold VCOM voltage stable in large TFT-LCD panels. It has 40V/μs slew rate and 35MHz bandwidth to quickly settle outputs for 120Hz frame rate and full HD television. The device has output short circuit protection and thermal shutdown. The MAX9650 is available in exposed pad packages for excellent heat dissipation. It is also used in instrument control voltage sources.

- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
- High current and fast settling time to quickly restore VCOM voltage for TFT LCDs
- Rail to rail inputs and outputs
- 3.7mA quiescent current per channel
- Continuous output current of ±350mA at VDD = 15V, VOUT = 7.5V
- Input offset voltage of 3.5mV at TA = +25°C and input bias current of 0.01μA at VIN = 9.5V
- Load regulation of ±0.2mV/mA at IOUT = 0mA to +80mA
- Voltage gain of 1.01V/V at RL = 10Kohm, CL = 50pF
- CMRR of 80dB (0.5V ≤ VCM ≤ VDD - 0.5V) and PSRR of 95dB (VDD = 6V to 20V, VCM = VOUT = 3V)
