P7809-2000R-S is a P78-2000R-S series compact, encapsulated non-isolated DC/DC converter. It is designed to offer high-performance alternatives to linear regulators. Utilizing switching technology, this is footprint-compatible with LM78XX three-terminal linear regulators. It is extremely efficient, does not require a heat sink, and comes with a right-angle bent pin, making it ideal for applications where board space is at a premium. It features short-circuit protection. Safety approvals are designed to meet 62368: EN, BS EN.
- 24VD typical input voltage, ±9VDC output voltage
- 2000mA (24VDC) maximum output current, 18W (24VDC) maximum output power
- 95% (24VDC) maximum efficiency (at minimum Vin and 100% load)
- Pin compatible with LM78XX linear regulators, wide input voltage range
- No-load input current as low as 0.1 mA
- 400KHz typical switching frequency (at nominal input, full load)
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
- Black plastic, flame retardant and heat resistant (UL94-V0) case material
- Dimension is 11.50 x 9.00 x 17.50mm
- 2 year limited warranty
