456-0100 is a general purpose aluminium enclosure for housing electrical components with an IP66 rating and flanges for easy mounting. This product is identical to or similar to the part numbers such as 587655, BS29MF, 517-4140. With an IP66 seal, this enclosure is dust proof, splash proof and protects from powerful jets of water, as per BS EN 60529:1992. Typical applications include test & measurement instrumentation, medical tools, transportation equipment, industrial controls and lighting applications.

Screws for this enclosures do not come already screwed into the lids. They are inside the enclosures in plastic bags for the end user to screw in.
