MPC8548CDS

The MPC8548CDS is a configurable development system for MPC8548E. The development system supports a wide range of NXP processors built on power architecture technology such as the MPC8548E family of processors, including the MPC8548, MPC8547E, MPC8545E and MPC8543E. The system is primarily a development and evaluation system, which is enhanced by its modular design, making it highly configurable. Using the CDS system on board resources and an associated debugger, developers are able to download and run code, set breakpoints, display memory and registers, and connect proprietary hardware via the expansion connectors. That code can then be incorporated into a desired system with the MPC85xx processor.

• Local bus generation including any necessary de-multiplexing and Local SDRAM support
• High speed serial interface configured in x4 PCI Express and x4 SRIO

• I²C remote configuration/override
